Keeping the garage organized is often one of the things my husband and I argue about. He claims the garage as his territory so he’d rather I keep my nose out of his space. But for a neat freak like me, seeing the garage so disorganized is like a living nightmare. Without his knowing I just sneak in and try to put everything in order. This results to his never ending interrogation of where I kept his special tools or for that particular little screw that I kept in a box somewhere.
Honestly, our garage is just modest in size but it seems so impossible to keep all the stuff organized because of the lack of storage space. Our arguments came to an end when we saw on the internet some very interesting sites for garage storage systems. It gave us very good ideas on how to utilize what we overlooked as available space. We found a very functional workbench that had hooks for his tools and cabinets under the tabletop to keep his equipment. We discovered that we could use the space between the ceiling and the wall to install overhead racks where we could place boxes of stuff to keep them off the floor.
